Behind every dessert, there is a story. This is the Lemon Loaf Story.

The Lemon Loaf Story focuses on feelings and obstacles every human being goes through. Feelings of loneliness and failure.

I was running some errands when I came across the sale of some lemons. Since I was planning to bake a cake this week, I decided to go ahead and purchase the lemons. Little did I know that after purchasing the lemons, God spoke to me. The words, "The Lemon Loaf Story" just stuck with me. With the theme of overcoming failure in mind, I was reminded of how failing can cause one to feel alone and sorrowful- feelings we may never want to admit or share with others.

That was when the Lemon Loaf Story took flight. Ideas and inspiration started to flow in.

Focused on the idea of Christ giving us hope and being a part of our life, I decided to centralise this idea on the lemon loaf.

This mini-film of the Lemon Loaf Story means so much to me as I have felt and experienced it before. May this story inspire, remind and encourage you. You are not alone. It may feel like it, but God is always there with you. He always has and will always be. We just need to take that one step of faith and let him in. Let him guide us on this journey. Let him be our compass. Let him live out loud through our lives. Let him help you.

Failure. Loneliness. All drowning us from within.

There are times we attach ourselves to something in the world that we think will remove that feeling. But it doesn't work out.

We feel that Life remains sour and bitter.

We can't speed up or slow it down.

The world promises us happiness, but it never lasts.

There are times we feel we have failed and are falling into a deep hole of anger, pain and sorrow.

We don't understand why we feel this way.

We try to sift out the impurities in our life on our own.

We put so much pressure on ourselves that we forget that we are never alone.

You are never alone...God is with you.

He made you, he knows you.

Life is never easy, but when we trust and have faith in the one who created us, who gave us a purpose, together, we can overcome.

Hebrews chapter 13:5 says “Never will I leave you. Never will I forsake you”.

This is the lemon loaf story. You are not alone.
