WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT BAKING... Different baked goods require different types of equipment. For example, cookie cutters, cake tins and piping bags for decoration and icing!! There are so many ways you can use equipment to make baked goods so special and unique.

This makes every baking experience unique and special in its own way. It reminds me that all of us are just like baked goods, God makes every one of us special such that none of us is identical. This shows that we are all beautiful and special in the eyes of God. We are all unique and don't need to compare with each other about what we have or don't have. A simple concept, yet some forget its significance.
Cookie cutters I use for all my sugar and gingerbread cookies
Looking at the cookie cutters that I use for sugar cookies, gingerbread cookies or plain butter cookies, there are SO MANY different designs, shapes, sizes, widths, and height. Every cookie that I cut is different. Some are 'perfectly' cut, while others may accidentally have one of the legs or arms cut off. However, the dough I use is still the same-the cookies taste delicious! This is why I don't throw the cookies away and instead, continue to bake them though they may not be 'perfect' to the eye:)
Some of us are like that. The perfect cookies represent those whom society believes are 'perfect'- has lots of money, good job, big family, physically healthy, etc. However, others may not seem as 'perfect'- those with physical disabilities, mental health issues, poor, homeless, orphans, etc. Are we supposed to reject these people?
All of us are created by the same God. Though we will all be different in many aspects, we are all still the same- we are loved by God, we have a purpose, we have a choice of free will. Our physical appearance or status does not determine who we are.
"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him." 1 John 3:1
Piping bag, piping tips, cake scraper, and cake slicer
Cake making it just like pottery...Cake making is ART!! Just like a potter, every baker puts their twist and style to the cake to make it interesting and suitable for a specific occasion.
There are many different types of ways you can frost and decorate a cake. One example is the frosting, whether it is a naked cake frosting or a fully frosted cake. What I love so much about cake making is the process of cutting, layering, filling and decorating the cake. The piping tips play such a crucial role in making the cake look attractive and appeal to its consumers:))
The catch is that, just like every other skill, it takes time and constant practice to be able to master it. Being very honest, making a cake is not my forte. I have yet to master frosting and decorating cakes to make sure it does not topple or fall on itself;') I guess this helps me to realise not to take the art of cakes for granted. Every cake is made with the creativity and style of the baker and no one can take that away.

That is just like you! You are special!! Don't ever doubt that about yourself:) whatever you do in life, seek God and ask for His wisdom. Just like bakers, we seek help from youtube videos or professional help when learning how to make cakes. Shouldn't we do the same? Asking God to play an important role in our future?
A PASSION AND INSPIRATION...Baking is my passion, and I want to share it with you. But I also want to remind you that there is a God who LOVES you very much:) Like how I love what I bake, God loves you because he made you. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
~Cheers, BaketoBless
